"I have spent most of the last 50 years making things like paintings, gardens, houses, jokes, music and babies. Now I concentrate on paintings and gardens."

My new paintings are centered on the life of the Bay, as well as recent wanderings in Asia and Europe. These works attempt to make some sense of religious, environmental and political pressures affecting life on this planet. Gondwana Gardener, above channeling Catalan Romanesque frescos from the eleventh century.
My philosophy is that gardening will save the earth, here's hoping....
