Our current exhibition features Plein Air works from Woombah based painter Curt Edwards.
These small works are all little gems, oils on canvas boards, focusing on Clarence River life and surrounds. Curt works quickly, on site with a limited palette, so they all have a spontaneous energy that truely captures the moment.
Interest in Curt's work as and emerging local talent is growing, winning two major regional art prizes within the last few months. The Grafton Open prize in June, and the LCACA's Golden Jubilee exhibition Maclean in July. The work 'Grafton Bridge' was also purchased by Grafton Regional Gallery in their annual aquisitions award 2015.
Visit Kingstudio over the next few weeks to view and purchase Curt's exciting new works.
